T.I.P stuff that don't bring in your room.
Water!
Water is the main one that I am worried. I brought a drink into my room put it on the chair and left it there. I have forgotten that it was there. I was just playing about with my shark and the tail whipped the drink onto the floor where the power point was off. I was frightened so I had to tell my mum. She was angry and testing out the power. The refrigerator had no power the lights were out and nothing was turning on even the internet! My stepdad had to go and check on the wires for your power switches while I had to clean up the mess. Also I had to hold the laptop high up so he had see the wires. Soon he started to switch the levers and all the lights went up again. I had to go to bed at 4:00am
Hi Robati!
ReplyDeleteThat must have been scary, especially without internet! Nowadays people live on the internet. How long did it take for the power to turn on?
I was waiting for the power to turn on for about half and hour it was very very VERY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! scary :D
DeleteI wish I live in new york because that place never sleeps (aka never runs out of power
Hi Robati,
DeleteI am so sorry to read that you recently lost power at your house. It must have been a very scary experience. I'm so relieved to read that your stepfather was able to fix the problem. It certainly made for a late night, though, didn't it? Were you really tired the next day having gone to bed at 4:00 a.m.?
I hope that the power outage doesn't happen again. We would be so sad if you weren't able to hop online and blog with us!
Speaking of blogging, we're really keen to read more of your great posts. Please continue with the summer learning journey as soon as you have time.
See you online again soon!
Cheers,
Rachel :)
P.S. New York truly is a city that never sleeps. I've had the opportunity to visit a few times and I was amazed by how busy and full of people it was at 3:00 and 4:00 in the morning. Amazing!
