Germany: Kia, Ora, I would like to visit Germany is because they have big amazing buildings and they look awesome to be in.

Also why I would like to visit is when you are on that bridge at night the bridge might glow with light and maybe even the building right next to it.

  1. Guten Tag Robati!

I am SOOO happy to see that you've joined the blogging programme this summer. That is awesome. I also think that it is awesome that you've chosen to visit Germany. It is a fascinating country. There is so much to see and do when you are there. You've already noted that the buildings are pretty stunning to look at and the bridges are pretty special as well. A number of the bridges are lit with special lights that you can see from a long way away. It reminds me of the Sky Tower. Have you seen it all lit up with red and green lights for Christmas? I was driving back across the Harbour Bridge from the North Shore last night and I saw the Sky Tower. It was stunning to look at! If you get the chance, please google 'sky tower auckland christmas lights' and you can see a picture of it!

Keep up the great work, Robati. I can't wait to read the rest of your blogs this summer :)

    Cheers,
    Rachel

  2. Kia ora Robati,

Welcome to the Summer Learning Journey! We are so excited to blog with you over the next four weeks. My name is Dan, and I'm working alongside Rachel and Mark over the summer. I'm lucky enough to be able to read your blogs and I'll be leaving comments as I go. If you want to reply to my comments then please do! I'd love to know what you think, or if you have any questions, feel free to ask away.

Wow, Germany looks like such an interesting country to visit! I really like the pictures you have chosen, it certainly looks like it would be an adventure. A lot of the buildings there are so old, but beautifully built. Can you think of any buildings in New Zealand that might be like that?

The lights at this time of year in Germany would incredible. Imagine what it must be like over there with all of the lights and the snow?? I bet it's cold! Have you seen any Christmas lights up around Auckland yet? We set up our Christmas tree at home last week with lots of different coloured lights, it was a lot of fun :-)

It looks like you have already made an awesome start to your Summer Learning Journey. Well done on commenting on other blogs too! I'm looking forward to following your journey through Germany.

    Cheers,
    Dan.
