On 25th April 2015, it was the 100th anniversary of ANZAC soldiers landing at Gallipoli. We learnt lots of things about life and war for the ANZAC soldiers when we visited Auckland Museum in April. We created poppies. We have written poems and letters about ANZAC and World War 1. I have chosen to share this because I have learnt lots of things about ANZAC Day. In 1915 on April 25th the war started in Gallipoli. Many soldiers died for us. We always remember by wearing poppies.
This blog is a record of my learning from Ruapotaka School in Auckland, NZ through to Tamaki College.
