😊Cooking At Technicraft!!!😊

Finally we made it to Tamaki College. As soon as we arrived, our new teacher Mrs Tuipolotu, taught us the basic rules of safe cooking.

First step of keeping safe from cooking is wearing aprons to protect your clothes from stains. If a fire happens we have to yell ''Mrs Tuipolotu fire,!'' and she will grab a fire proof blanket or a fire extinguisher. After we learnt about the safety equipment we had to learn how to organise the cooking equipment.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      As soon as the table was clean, the equipment was ready, we looked at Mrs Tuipolotu who told us that we were making milkshakes!                                                                                                                                        
 We grabbed a mixer with a bowl and Mrs Tuipolotu placed three cups of ice-cream in our bowl and we had to mix the ice-cream until it was creamy. As soon as we all had a turn of mixing the ice-cream, we scooped some of the mixture into our cups and waited in a line until we received our chocolate flavoring. Then we had to walk around in circle for the next round of whip cream. Mrs Tuipolotu sprayed some whip cream for about five seconds and then she'd shout, ''Next,!'' After drinking our delicious milkshake we had to clean all our equipment before we could drink more of our milkshake.

This was the first time making milkshakes in my life!

Week 2 Technicraft

We have come back to Tech and I have to work on my project. The first thing I had to do was write some reasons why we are making our project, who is it for, what it is made of.

I made squares on my design to look more realistic. After I had done my patterns Mr Grundy gave me permission to go through the yellow and black line and show me his piercing machines. He gave me a simple small machine  that burns wood. To make it more safe, we had a plug at the end. It has a bent curve and it will burn so hot it can burn wood very easily.

 With the patterns I have made, I had to burn around them to look more like a giraffe. Afterwards it was time to go. I had a really exciting day at Technicraft.
           
                                                 By the way my project is not completed.

Room 11's Hosting Assembly

It was Room 11's turn to host the Senior Syndicate Assembly.  They chose a song called 'Happy' by Velody. Afterwards we had a singing competition. Room 11 had to choose two students from each classroom to sing a song.  Rooms 9, 10 , and 11 got to sing but unfortunately the chosen Room 12 students weren't there to perform as they were called away.  So Vaimoana stood in and sang a song by herself. First place came Room 12, second, Room 9, third 10 and lastly Room 11. Then we handed out the certificates to the students who were working hard and behaving well. At the end of Room 11 syndicate assembly Meafou took Room 9 out to the door followed by Rooms 10, 11 and 12.

Tuesday 7th February 2017

It was Room 12s turn to host the senior assembly. Room 12 organisers had to choose 9-12 people to stand  up and impress the audience with what they could do. First they started off with a happy song. The song is about staying happy through all your life. 

After we students finished singing the song the teachers gave certificates to the students who were behaving and working hard.  After we had done exciting things we went  into more exciting stuff. Each class had to choose two students to preform their dance to a beat. 

Later we sang a song called 'Lean On Me'. It was really calming and relaxing singing it. Afterwards it was time to go, Tyron then ended Room 12s syndicate assembly.

Why I Would Go To Germany School!

Germany:

I think I would go to Germany's school and learn there:
Why?
First:Because they have maths at early time and I love maths. I love maths because it relates to numbers and solving.
Second: break (morning tea) is at 9:30- 9:40 but that means that we have 10 minutes playtime. Its the same at Ruapotaka
Third:  they also have break(lunch) early too. We have 12:45-1:00 eat time and they have 11:10-11:30 that is the same at morning tea at Ruapotaka. (sort of )
Last but not least: they finish their school very early and I like to go home early as soon as possible.

I will be wearing my old shoes to go swimming and save my new shoes for walking. Why and I using shoes under water? Its so you won't get cut by shells and rocks. Also I wear them for paddling its faster in my opinion. It is also better with eh board so I can relax and swim at the same time. 

Also in the summer I would go to the bowling club in Panmure and have some fun!

Famous food ice cream

Hi this is my little baby brother that is 5 months old. He is eating ice cream because ice cream is made out of milk. What sort of ice cream is it? We didn't have hockey pokey ice cream but it is ice cream it is french vanilla ice cream. He was eating it he was spitting. That to me is that he loves it! :)

1.First breakfast is the most important meal of the day because when you wake up you eat breakfast it will pup you up ready to go somewhere or do something.

2.Second breakfast is the most important meal of the day because if you won't have any breakfast you will not be active you will be falling asleep and being lazy

T.I.P I realized something that I always do. As soon as I wake up I just fall back asleep. Then when I am truly awake I am not active even when I had breakfast. Why?
because I woke up already but then I fell asleep sp if you ever wake up and you are still tired don't go back to sleep you be very active to wake you up even more have a shower of poor water on you face. That will make up wide awake

The common food of German for their breakfast is bread and meat (any sort) wonder why?

Also it has egg and cheese with vegetables. I love their breakfast because anything on their plate is my favourite food. hmm... delicious!

I eat egg because I love eggs. Also sometimes we go out to the takeaways and get breakfast there and last of all I don't have breakfast in the morning because I already ate at night times

3 reason to keep safe on a plane

Bull fighting should not be allowed. You will never know when you might get hurt. Also maybe some bulls are not even attracted to red. What if they are attracted to blue or green. It is very bad to do bull fighting unless you are a skilled player and brave enough to fight against a bull.

What I have done in Wellington?

When I had to left Australia I  had to go to New Zealand's capital city, Wellington to see my mum. I have been in Wellington for 2 years. What I have been doing in Wellington is I went to a school called Lyall Bay School. We can go on trips at At Lyall Bay. We went to the Beehive where the government people were but it was empty inside. We saw a long table with chairs on the edges and one giant chair for the leader. ( I think) We get to sit on the chairs but our teacher Mrs.T (Anita) gets to choose who gets to sit on the chair. She choose my friend Brielle and she has to choose one of us what did you have for breakfast. She choose Angus my other friend and he said " I had wheat bix with milk and sugar thank you," After we done all that we had to go on the bus back to school. We also visited a bank that had mini bars covering stacks and stacks of $50 dollar notes. We went there to learning about money. It was like a movie there but a man that had to show us photos and questions and who ever gets the question rights gets a point and a lollipop. I didn't win but my friend Olivia did.

Germany: Kia, Ora, I would like to visit Germany is because they have big amazing buildings and they look awesome to be in.

Also why I would like to visit is when you are on that bridge at night the bridge might glow with light and maybe even the building right next to it.
